Pada Kamis (17/10/2024), tepatnya di Dekanat Fakultas Kesehatan Masyarakat Universitas Andalas, Limau Manis, Padang, Sumatra Barat, dilaksanakan Vitasi Akreditasi Program Studi Magister Ilmu Gizi Fakultas Kesehatan Masyarakat Universitas Andalas. Kegiatan tersebut merupakan kegiatan kunjungan untuk melakukan verifikasi dan klarifikasi atas isian instrumen akreditasi dan informasi pendukung dari prodi S2 Ilmu Gizi oleh Lembaga Akreditasi Mandiri Pendidikan Tinggi Kesehatan (LAM-PTKes).

Kegiatan akan dilakukan selama tiga hari dari 17—19 Oktober 2024. Pada hari pertama, pukul 13.00 WIB, setelah tim asesor dijemput dari Bandara Internasional Minangkabau, seluruh dosen dan tenaga kependidikan menyambut mereka di lobi Dekanat FKM UNAND. Acara inti dilaksanakan di Ruang Sidang FKM UNAND.
Acara vitasi ini dihadiri oleh:
- Tim Asesor LAM-PTKes, Bapak Adriyan Pramono, S.Gz., M.Si., Ph.D. dan Ibu Dr. Ir. Diah Mulyawati Utari, M.Kes.;
- Wakil Rektor III Unand, Bapak Prof. Dr. Kurnia Warman, S.H., M.Hum.;
- Sekretaris LPPM Unand, Bapak Dr. apt. Friardi Ismed;
- Sekretaris LPM Unand, Ibu Dr. Elly Delfia, S.S., M.Hum.;
- Wakil Direktur I Pascasarjana Unand, Bapak Dr. Rusfirda, S.Pt., M.P.; serta
- Bapak/Ibu dosen dan Tenaga Kependidikan FKM UNAND.
Acara dimulai dengan pembukaan oleh MC, Rizda Lili Audina, dan dilanjutkan dengan penyampaian safety induction oleh salah satu dosen, Bapak Aulia Rahman, S.K.M, M.K.M.. Setelahnya, video profil Prodi dan Fakultas ditayangkan dan sambutan-sambutan disampaikan. Pengenalan dan penyampaian kode etik disampaikan oleh asesor.
Rangkaian acara berikutnya presentasi mengenai fakultas oleh Dekan FKM UNAND, Ibu Dr. dr. Dien Gusta Anggraini Nursal, M.K.M. dan dilanjutkan dengan presentasi tentang prodi oleh Ketua prodi S2 Ilmu Gizi, Ibu Dr. Helmizar, S.K.M., M.Biomed. setelah presentasi acara dilanjutkan dengan diskusi bersama tim asesor.

Acara ini telah dipersiapkan dari jauh hari dengan koordinasi dengan pihak FKM sendiri dan tempat observasi Unand lain di luar FKM. “Untuk persiapannya FKM sudah persiapkan jauh-jauh hari, mulai dari persiapan dokumen dan persiapan fisik gedung juga. Tidak lupa, kita juga koordinasi dengan bagian Universitas Andalas yang lainnya, seperti Laboratorium Sentral, perpustakaan, dan RS Unand untuk kegiatan observasi oleh asessor. Persiapannya lumayan padat, tetapi para pimpinan dan civitas akademika FKM berusaha untuk mendapatkan hasil terbaik.” Ujar Ayesha, panitia acara, saat diwawancarai Tim UKPM Pena.
Untuk rangkaian acara akhir pada hari pertama ini, observasi dilaksakan di Perpustakaan Pusat, Laboratorium Sentral, dan Rumah Sakit Universitas Andalas.
